The altarpiece is attributed by some to a Capuchin friar named Facis, according to others it was instead painted by an artist of the Genuino family. The Virgin is portrayed standing on a cloud, surrounded by numerous winged cherubs and, below, kneeling in the act of adoration of St. Leonardo and St. Agatha.
