The history of the UN (and of the world) in the most beautiful images of the United Nations Photo Library.
On the occasion of the recurrence of the signature at the United Nations of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on 10 December 1948, on December 8, 2018, from 3.30 pm, the photographic exhibition "Human Rights. The history of the UN (and of the world) in the most beautiful images of the United Nations Photo Library" opens to the public. Scheduled until June 22, 2019, aimed at the general public and schools, the exhibition tells the story of the UN and the contemporary world by retracing the events and the evolution of the international organization from its birth in 1945 to the present day through the more beautiful images preserved in his historical photographic archive, focusing in particular on the most important civil and military missions of which he was the protagonist.
Aimed at the general public and schools, "Human Rights" consists of about 60 images (both in black and white and in color) and is part of the History & Photography project which aims to recount History with Photography (and History of Photography) to the general public and to students, enhancing national and international photographic historical archives, both public and private.
