The original altarpiece, now part of the Collection of the Cassa di Risparmio di Fano Foundation, was paainted in 1649 by Giovanni Francesco Barbieri, known as Guercino. The one currently visible is a good quality copy signed by Giusto Cespi (1867-1954) from Fano.
