The sixteenth-century fresco, attributed to the Brugora Master, depicts the Madonna and Child between Saint Catherine of Alexandria, on the left, and Saint Apollonia, on the right. The fresco simulates a triptych, with the three figures depicted within a fake architectural structure richly decorated with grotesques, on which two musical angels are seated.
