The frescoes, divided by stucco decorations, were painted in 1661, begun by Carlo Francesco Nuvolone and completed by his brother Giuseppe after Carlo's death. In the central field Aeolus is depicted, in the others Phryxus, Helle and the Golden Fleece, Neptune and Cupid, The Rape of Europa, The Rape of Proserpina.
