The altarpiece is a polyptych from 1599 by the Baroque artist from Gallipoli Gian Domenico Catalano and depicts Saint Francis of Assisi on the left, Saint Clare of Assisi on the right and Saints Peter and Paul in the center dominated by the Madonna with Child surrounded by cherubs.
