Notes:
Fusion of three pictures on a scale of 2 stops. The real name is Church of Santa Maria outside the Walls. Its origins date back to the 16th century, but the present building is late Baroque (second half of the eighteenth century). The most valuable work is represented by the fresco of the second half of the sixteenth century depicting the Madonna enthroned with a blessing Child and the saints Rocco and Sebastiano on her sides (barely recognizable). Currently placed on the back wall of the apse, it was originally a votive fresco of the previous church. Show all pictures of the category Places, cities and monuments |
