The second edition of the musical program “I WANT TO LIKE YOU BUT I FIND IT DIFFICULT”, curated by Craig Richards, comprises three events taking place on Thursday 16 May, Friday 14 June and Friday 27 September 2019, from 7pm to midnight, in the external spaces of Fondazione Prada’s premises.
“I WANT TO LIKE YOU BUT I FIND IT DIFFICULT” is an attempt to explore a wide range of genres and languages hosting international music performers, such as Andrea Belfi, Biosphere, Colleen, Floating Points, Helena Hauff, Maarja Nuut & Ruum, object blue, Pole, Ben UFO, and Craig Richards.
The event on 14 June will include the live performances by Norwegian talent Geir Jenssen, aka Biosphere, who has released some of the most important ambient, experimental machine music of the last two decades; by Italian percussionist Andrea Belfi, who will open Thom Yorke’s European tour this year and whose ability to create a wall of sound with limited equipment is both breathtaking and captivating; by explosive new talent object blue whose singular sound and live performance defy genre with new interpretations of techno and electro; as well as the DJ set by acclaimed British musician and producer Craig Richards.
